The Liberec Region will support another 450 applications for boiler and heat pump subsidies.
The Liberec Region has approved additional subsidies for the purchase of new boilers and heat pumps for the residents of the region through its council. However, in this case, it is not a new round of boiler subsidies but rather the use of additional projects from the so-called "project reserve," meaning projects for which there were no funds available in the current round.
The Liberec Region can now request up to a total of 55 million crowns from the Ministry of the Environment and is already preparing a project application.
At present, the "reserve" in the Liberec Region is filled to about half capacity, and other applicants can still submit applications for support. The first funds should be received by applicants during the fall of 2020.

The Moravian-Silesian Region has already obtained another 500 million for boiler subsidies and will thus be able to support nearly eight thousand applicants, who will be able to replace their boiler with a more environmentally friendly one with lower heating costs.
